Overview
You do not need to leave Ireland in order to have an adventure. If there is one thing that we have learned in recent times, it’s that the landscape right on our doorstep can rival plenty of the world’s most beautiful places. And Kerry is one of the most striking places of all. Join us for our Kerry Mountains Guided Hiking Tours this year and enjoy the best that Kerry has to offer.
Kerry Mountains Guided Hiking Tours
A true hiker’s paradise, Kerry has the kind of sweeping hills and striking mountains that are just begging to be explored. It’s also home to the tallest mountain in Ireland, Carrauntoohil, where you can experience some of the most challenging (and rewarding) climbs in the country. Additionally, there are the dramatic peaks of Mount Brandon, the breathtaking Purple Mountain and Mount Eagle, all at your feet. And if the weather isn’t playing ball, the low-level walks in Killarney National Park or the Kerry Way weave through some of the most gorgeous scenery around.
Explore Kerry with like-minded adventurers
On our trip, you will hook up with like-minded adventurers and explore the best that Kerry has to offer, all with our experienced expedition leaders. This 8-day, 7-night trip includes breakfast and lunch daily, with the freedom to enjoy great local food out each evening. To make the most of the natural surroundings, you’ll get to experience luxury camping on 6 of the nights, before finishing the week off in style with a night in the Brehon Hotel.
We will spend our days tackling six of the best hikes in the country, as well as leaping into the sea for some wild swimming and enjoying a pint or two of Guinness along the way. By the end of the week, you will have clocked up 85km, over 5000m of elevation and made some damn good friends along the way.
